Reviews and Ratings for Financial adviser Luke Hartley, Slough

Luke started his career as an underwriter in the secured lending sector. He quickly developed an interest in financial planning and asset management, so he took a role in private banking and qualified as a financial adviser in 2008.

In 2012, Luke wanted to move away from the traditional “transactional” advice where you might only meet a client once, to focus instead on ongoing and bespoke client relationships. As such, he left the bank and founded what is now Hartley Ross.

More than a decade later, Luke still very much enjoys working directly with private clients, while also overseeing the firm’s senior management compliance role and his seat on our investment committee.

Outside of work

Luke is married with two young children, which inevitably means his interests reflect theirs! He enjoys helping coach his son’s rugby team for Amersham & Chiltern RFC as well as playing the occasional game himself. He’s not quite as qualified to help with his daughter’s dancing, but it’s a source of great amusement to her when he tries.
